INFORMATION NOTE ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA: in accordance with regulations on confidentiality set out by the law applicable to the data controller Trelleborg Wheel Systems Italia S.p.A. (Legislative decree 196/2003 'personal data protection code' and further additions and amendments), we will provide the information referred to in Article 13 of the 'information note'.
THE PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING: the data collected directly from the data subject by means of electronic media or paper documents, shall be used to properly manage the relationship with the data subject and corresponding communications, and to improve the services offered. Examples of these purposes are:

*to provide answers to requests for information ;
*to manage the registration of user profiles and their functions ;
*to carry out promotional activities such as competitions with prizes, customer loyalty campaigns, event invitations, etc. ;
*to inform customers about products and services by electronic means (e-mail, SMS, etc.) or by contacting them directly ;
*to manage client relations as effectively as possible, by constantly improving the level of service and making it more personal ;
*to provide periodic news bulletin services.
TYPE OF DATA COMMUNICATION AND CONSEQUENCES OF A REFUSAL TO RESPOND: the data marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory. The service cannot be provided if they are not communicated. Communicating the other data is optional and is designed to personalise the service and improve the relationship with the data subject.
AREA OF COMMUNICATION AND DISTRIBUTION: the data are entered into an electronic management system which meets high security standards (storage and protection against loss, destruction and non-authorised access). They are used by a dedicated member of staff, who is part of the Business Area Wheel Systems of the Trelleborg group. Any international transfer/sharing of data between companies of the group (particularly outside of the EU) will be carried out exclusively in accordance with the appropriate security protocols, in order to ensure the rights of the data subjects.
The data may be sent to external sources (postal services, credit institutions, consulting firms, systems maintenance technicians, etc.), exclusively where necessary for properly managing the relationship with the data subject and if the suitable guarantees are provided.
The data will be saved for the periods of time suitable for the purposes involved in collection. These periods generally run concurrently with the duration of the relationship with the data subject and with the corresponding legal obligations.
RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT: the data subject has the right, at any time, to obtain confirmation of the existence of personal data pertaining to them, and the origin, purposes and processing methods used on said data. Furthermore, they also have the right to update, rectify, integrate, cancel or block data processed in violation of the law and may oppose, for legitimate reasons, the processing of this data. The rights referred to in Article 7 of legislative decree 196/2003 and the option to unsubscribe from archives will be reaffirmed in each electronic communication sent by e-mail, with a particular reference to our news bulletin service.
